Aja Banks - Professional School Counselor
My name is Mrs. Aja Banks, and I am proud to be one of the counselors at "The" Jackson Elementary School! I have over 20 years of experience in education. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Hampton University, a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education Degree from the University of South Carolina (Columbia) and a Master of Arts Degree in School Guidance Counseling from Cambridge College (Augusta).
Prior to my arrival here, I taught at the elementary school level for nineteen years.
I am looking forward to what each school year has in store while being of service in Clayton County, a place where all of my career dreams have come true!
Outside of school, I enjoy distance running, painting, writing, and spending time with my family. Additionally, I am a self taught photographer and artist.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little more about me. I want to wish everyone a positive and productive school year!
